All Australian orders made before 3pm on a weekday will be processed on the same day (except public holidays). For International orders, it is 2pm. Please note that all orders received over the weekend are processed the following Monday.
Basics Department purchases may be delivered to addresses other than the billing address given by the cardholder. An email and a copy of the invoice will be sent to the cardholder's registered email address.
A dispatch confirmation email displaying your unique tracking number will be sent for all orders so that you can track the progress of your delivery. We will require a signature upon delivery for all goods shipped.
EXPRESS DELIVERY WITHIN AUSTRALIA
Basics Department offers free delivery for all orders over $100. You will receive your order within 2-3 working days.
For delivery of all orders under $100 within Australia, Basics Department charges a flat rate of $10. You will receive your order within 2-3 working days.
We currently use Australia Post and StarTrack as our domestic courier.
INTERNATIONAL EXPRESS DELIVERY
Basics Department offers free international shipping for orders over $300 AUD. You will receive your order within 7-10 working days.
For shipping of all orders under $300 AUD, Basics Department charges a flat rate of $30 AUD. You will receive your order within 7-10 working days.
We currently use DHL as our international courier therefore, we do not deliver to PO Box addresses.
International delivery costs do not include any taxes or duties, which may be applied by customs at the destination country, and any duties or taxes incurred are the responsibility of the delivery recipient.
Please note that in accordance with Australian export regulations we are required to declare the exact value of all items and identify the order as dutiable “merchandise”. We are also prohibited by law from identifying an order as a “gift” for export purposes, even if a customer has placed the order with the intention of delivery to a gift recipient.

LOST OR DAMAGED GOODS
